Wet Layup Molding Technology

Wet layup forming / Molding combines fibre reinforcement and the matrix as they are placed on the forming tool. Reinforcing fibre layers are placed in an open mould and then saturated with a wet resin by pouring it over the fabric and working it into the fabric. The mould is then left so that the resin will cure, usually at room temperature, though heat is sometimes used to ensure a proper cure. Sometimes a vacuum bag is used to compress a wet layup. Glass fibres are most commonly used for this process, the results are widely known as fibreglass, and is used to make common products like skis, canoes, kayaks and surf boards.

Safety Helmets

  • lightweight and high strength : The relative density is between 1.5 ~ 2.0, only 1/4 to 1/5 of HDPE.

  • Designable : Products of various structures can be flexibly designed as needed.

Corrugated Roofing Sheets

FRP corrugated sheets that we offer are available in different thickness, size and length. Their rust proof property help in successfully meeting the challenges of any kind of weather.

Anti slip Checker Plate

  • lightweight and high strength : The relative density is between 1.5 ~ 2.0, only 1/4 to 1/5 of carbon steel. The tensile strength of FRP products is closed to or even better than carbon steel, Its strength can be compared with high alloy steel.

  • Good corrosion resistance : FRP is a good corrosion-resistant material with good resistance to atmospheric, water and general concentrations of acids, bases, salts and a variety of oils and solvents.

  • Good insulation performance : FRP is an excellent insulating material used to make insulators.

  • Good thermal performance : The FRP material has a low thermal conductivity and is 1.25~1.67Kj/(m`h`K) at room temperature. Only of metal 1/100~1/1000. It is a good insulation material.

  • Designable : Products of various structures can be flexibly designed as needed.
